Harrison Butcher, with support from Sinwattana Crowdfunding Platform, proud to launch the Crowdfunding Workshop & Competition: the first in Thailand to offer an in-depth training on crowdfunding raising techniques with competition to win a prize of more than 300,000 baht in real fundraising on the Sinwattana Crowdfund ing Platform for the year 2020.
Are you looking to build and launch a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for your project and build a community who are emotionally and financially invested in its success?
Harrison Butcher: We are the first successful equity crowdfunding issuer of Thailand so we know how to do. Khun Nuanlaong Srichumpon our founder will transfer her knowledge and tips through our practical in-house training at Harrison butcher (Soi Soonvijai). The events will have 3 rounds a year. The first round will be 23rd November - 8th December 2020.
Training program will have 2 stages. The first stage is 2 days workshop between 23-24 November or 25-26 November (Selectable). This section aims to make trainees understand in crowdfunding mechanism and how to make project proposal for crowdfunding campaign. Only 10 teams from this stage will be selected to enter the next stage.
The 2nd stage will be focus about project feasibility and how to communicate to crowdfunding investors. The successful project have to be solid in unique selling points and be able to explain the important financial figures that investors always look for it. We will let you have guide template and explain how the investor think about your project. Moreover, we will talk about online communication which will be effective tools to expand your idea to public. After finish the 2nd stage training, only the most feasible 6 projects will be able to go on the pitching day.
In the pitching day, the finalist will have a chance to do presentation to the investors and the crowdfunding platform provider (CFPP). The best project will get the prize up to 300,000 THB for launching project to the real crowdfunding platform.
What is the qualifying criteria to take part?
We are looking for the project developer, the private companies, the startup companies and other organizations who want to raise fund between 5-20 Million THB through crowdfunding platform and already have a project or idea in mind. Applicants need to be aware that raising funds is a time consuming process and must be willing to put in the time and work required. Candidates need to be available to attend the session both of 1st Stage and 2nd Stage workshop at Harrison Butcher.
Foreigner is welcome but workshop will be in Thai language only.

1st Stage Workshop: The applicants can select between (A) on 23 - 24 November, or (B) on 25 - 26 November
2nd Stage Shortlist announce: 29 November 20202
2nd Stage Workshop: 2 - 4 December 2020
The Finalist announce: 6 December 2020
The Pitching Date: 8 December 2020
